New question

Here's a new question from Mary Charles:

WHAT DOES PRAY WITHOUT CEASING MEAN TO YOU? HOW DOES IT HELP YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS?

Thoughts?

As no one has yet responded, I'll relate my spur-of-the-moment response (which I gave to MC in person). To me, it means to understand that the world, and everything in it, is sacramental, and that our souls should be in constant communication with God, even if it's not "verbal."

Nicely and succinctly put :-)

Kelly hit the nail on the head. We believe in corporate sacraments (i.e., Eucharist, baptism, ordination, etc.), but sacraments (i.e., signs of God's grace) are present everywhere.

The fact that we breathe, think, move, that we are beings of infinite potential because of God's grace, means that we should strive to treat every little thought, word, or deed as an act of prayer. Or, rather, an act of sharing the grace God has first given us.
