Wright is not talking or writing about Real Acausal God.
He is talking about how the ideas ABOUT god changed over the centuries. And then only within the half-baked mis-understanding of The Divine invented by the three major entirely tribalistic would be world conquering power seeking monotheistic cults.
What about the rest of the report of the entire Great Tradition of humankind, all of which is now freely available to anyone with an internet connection.
The post was intended to spark a discussion of the book in question. Of course there are other traditions, but not every conversation must cover every topic.
